A comprehensive five-day program focusing on Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, and Banach Algebras. It bridges the gap between theory and application by providing the rigorous mathematical framework essential for advancements in physics, engineering, and computational sciences.

Topics to be Covered

• Functional Analysis: The Hahn–Banach extension and Separation theorems, Dual spaces and Reflexivity of Banach spaces, Geometry of Banach spaces with emphasis on Convexity, Smoothness, and Extreme points, Weak and Weak* Topologies, Krein–Milman theorem, Banach–Alaoglu theorem, and Goldstine theorem.
• Operator Algebras: Banach algebra, Spectrum, Maximal Ideals, GKZ theorem, Gelfand transform, Gelfand-Naimark theorem, C*-algebra, States on C*-algebra, GNS theorem.
